A few pictures of this weeks ESTATE items plus ~ Giveaway winner.

This week we have been swamped with some great items. We have had 3 different estates which means hundreds of items to sort out. Below is a few pictures of some of the items that are now in my dining room awating cleaning etc.
Large Bakewells mixing bowl and the pokerwork tea caddy are a couple of my favourites.

                                Bakelite Maracas....great sound.
                                         More pokerwork.
                                                          Interesting old corkscrew
Plaster figures, sylvac pig money boxes and head bobbing cat ready to pounce.

Classic Art Deco Diana in all her glory.
                                   Wonderful carved federation hat rack.
Box of silver ware and mystery box, I am yet to get to behind.
Instrument makers tools, the pen gives a good indication of size.
The tiniest plane ever...such a cutie.
And the winner of my little Murano give away is the lovely Brismod  from Fun and VJ's. Brismod was very lucky to score two extra entires which were given to her by the lovely Liz at Nostalgia and Now so she may have had an edge. Because Liz was so generous I thought she deserved something too. So Liz I will be contacting you aswell to send a little treasure your way too. I hope you all had a good weekend. Thanks so much for entering the giveway I hope to have another one not too far away.

  1. I love the Bakewell mixing bowl. And if I was any sort of cook, I'd be shaking those maracas while, whatever the hell it was that I mixed, was baking.

When I was a boarder (at boarding school) I found a Bakewell jug in the showers. Yes. I don't know what it was doing there either. Anyway, I left a note for the resident Nuns informing them that I'd found a Bakewell jug in the showers, and if they wanted it back, they could find me. No one sought me, so the Bakewell jug and I have been happily cohabiting in a jug/jug user-way since.

Congrats Brismod! Worthy home for the purple Italian vase.

  11. The reason is - video-on-demand market is the only model that works on subscriptions.
ANTENNA: I get the same number of channels over the air as
I did when I had a 7 year old generic HD TV.
The stations that I get over the aerial all have their own icon in the menu.
