Vintage Sports Goods always a hit!

Old wooden tennis racquets, cricket and baseball bat off to the Garden Centre and the Woolloongabba Antique Centre. These look great displayed on a wall in a bar, office or boy's/gents bedroom and add a lot of atmosphere as well as talking points and so on.
I always love the details when we get something that someone has treasured. For example on the cricket bat the original owner has written his name and "Highest Score" while using the bat, 143 runs not out...pretty good.

Also note the old repair done with leather and finely stitched. This is the way all repairs used to be done once. To contact please email boathome@bigpond.net.au

  1. Ah! Look at those tennis racquets! You'd be pretty cool walking onto a suburban court with one of those over your shoulder!

  2. They would look great on display! And be handy for when you investigate those strange noises in the middle of the night.

  5. It's genuinely very difficult in this active life to listen news on TV, so I just use internet for that reason, and obtain the most recent news.
