Do you spy those two stools?
I so wanted to keep these little fellows. I brought them inside and carried them around my house...but alas no room. I could have replaced one I have in my kitchen, that I have magazines on, for the little painted chap but, you will think me crazier than you aleady do, it felt mean. The stool I would be replacing it for is very cute and has given me lots of love for many years so why should he be repaced with this "new" flashier arrival. Their finish is so soft and smooth...ahh. And look at the delicate flowers on the front one...original folk art. The one at the back has lovely legs.
Lovely, lovely. I'm looking for a stool for my new bathroom - may have to just pop down the road and have a look at those two beauties! Hope you have a great weekend Katherine. Michelle
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, as usual. You're a bit like me when I was little. At night I'd make a judicious selections of dolls with whom to sleep, but then I thought "No! I can't leave the rest of you out! That's not nice!" So they'd all have to get into bed ... wouldn't make for much room for me, but you can't leave one doll on its own. Just as you can't swap a loyal old stool for a new flasy one!
