New Furniture at the WAC today ~ Trestle Table and Bench

Today I had a bit of a change up at the WAC. I took over this fabulous trestle table, groovy plastic retro chairs and tall work bench style table.
The trestle table is a "fair dinkum" one. In other words it was made as a trestle table rather then being trestle legs with a plank of wood or old door on top. This ones legs fold up under. This allows for far more leg room under the table.
The top is the natural pine and the legs are partly painted, still the old original paint. I gave the whole thing an estapol.
I love the retro plastic chairs and I think they look fun with the more traditional timber of the trestle table. They are a mixed set of six, 3 bright orange and 3 bright green.
Here you can see the look of the legs with the old paint and timber peeking through.
With the old bench I left the top natural and estapoled it and I painted the base white to give it a bit of a shabby or French Country look.
You can see my lighthouse lamps now have nice deco looking round white shades.

I also can never pass up retro planters be they anodised or plastic.
Teapots always display well don't you think?
I also really like this faux 1960's deer head. It is really well made from pale timber. I am not sure of a maker but it has a nice "Scandi" feel to it and is perfect for those who like the look of "dead animal" wall art without the actual death to an animal.

This old US mail bag I think would look great chopped up and made into a large cushion or some kind of wall art etc..what do you think?
Old trolley. These are great as the backs for a footpath sign or as a display in a garden or even as the back of a menu board for a restaurant....not everyone's thing but imagination sometimes is needed for turning some old industrial items into a useable piece of furniture.
Talking of industrial I also like these old file drawers. I am pretty sure these ones are the right size for cd's and Dvd's to be stored in.

  12. Have you ever considered about including a little
bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all.
However think about if you added some great photos or video clips to give
your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with images and
clips, this site could undeniably be one of the greatest in its niche.

    Wonderful blog!

It's hilarious due to the fact I use to have a web site that virtually had an identical website url: http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=599059036157720302&postID=1501364377136518440 mine was only a few characters different. In any case, I am a big admirer of your blog site and if you ever would like a guest article please email me personally at: ramoncamarillo@web.de. I love writing!

  14. When I initially commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added
I get four e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?

  15. My developer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.

I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using Movable-type on
several websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform.
I have heard good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my
wordpress posts into it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
