Garden Centre shines after the recent rain.

We have had so much rain recently and from the looks of the skies today a summer storm is on its way. A lot of our state's north is under water. I can only imagine how terrible it must be for all those forced to leave their homes to the rising waters. Our thoughts are with them.
As I said in my previous post new things are happening at theoldboathouse. We have decided to increase, or rather double our space at The Woolloongabba Antique Centre. So knowing this was underway I have had a bit of a reorganise at the Cottage Garden Nursery in East Brisbane.
I have added some new furniture and lots of little goodies.

Stunning orchids are always available and are supplied from a wonderful local grower.
Lots of new goodies are on offer in my new spot.
Bev has also been busy redoing the window with a fun "New Year" party theme.

Nurseryman Paul recently purchased this old bath for the water or pond plants. Don't you think it looks great? I can imagine it in a garden as it would make such a great water feature. It looks super in the nursery right next to the cafe for customers to ponder as they have a coffee. I don't know if you have noticed but we have recently added some changes to the blog with the addition of some pages at the top so we can have more information for our readers. We will be adding to and organising these over the coming weeks. Happy New Year everyone...heres to another fun and busy year I am off to do more cleaning for my new spot at the WAC.

  2. It's a small world. I wandered in the other day and there was John and his wife running the coffee shop. John used to make me killer coffees when my kids were babies back in his Bulimba days. You have such a lovely spot there. I love visiting. Hopefully I will see you there one day! A-M xx
