Pictures of some of the items going up on ebay tonight. We have been so busy this week that we have not had a chance to do many auctions for ebay except for a few I put up earlier in the week.

Look at these darling tea cosies.... (you know the little knitted cover you put on your tea pot to keep it warm) You don't need to love a cup of tea to enjoy their loveliness or admire the skill and love that went into creating them. I could see them on a wall..or displayed on a kitchen dresser, but they would certainly add a bit of charm to a tea party. They will be off to the Garden Centre, 999 Stanley Street East, East Brisbane...To contact us please email email@example.com

Spent the morning in sewing heaven sorting through the collection of a fabric lover. Have come home with a mountain of fabulous retro prints, florals, stripes, spots and tartins.....yummy, yummy. Don't you just love fabric? Each piece is a little bundle of anticipation of what it might become...a groovy skirt, cushion, window dressing, toy...the list is endless. Some were still done up in brown paper, tied up with string....my heart is full. Needless to say the daughter of the lady who had owned it thought I was a bit nuts (yes guilty as charged!)...as I ooed and ahhed. She is not a fabric lover. But she was very happy that her mum's collection would find new homes and go to other fabric collectors and crafters.
Once I get them all measured they will be off to the Woollangabba Antique Centre.

Yes I have had this song from Meet me in St Louis starring Judy Garland stuck in my head ever since we got this wonderful old tram or street trolley seat. Of coarse I don't know all the words, and I don't sound like Judy Garland, so I have been driving all in my house a little crazy repeating the chorus. Today I imagine this romantic old chair would be fun on a verandah or in a garden. It will be listed on ebay tonight along with some other furniture.

Couldn't resist these wonderful vintage hula skirts at an estate today. I think it was the little one that was the clincher. The shoes are only about 4 inches long..sooo cute! Ofcoarse I can see them adorning a wall in a beach shack or the back of a bar in a rockabilly themed room. Makes me want to watch Elvis movies... All the skirts will be off to the WAC.
