The Rising Son

As I type this Chauncy, our youngest son aged 15, is in midair on his way to here...Tokyo, Japan. He and his fellow Japanese students will be spending the next 2 weeks in Japan.

Chauncy (Left) and his good mates Zac and Connor.

It is strange to think that tonight he will be sleeping on the 17th floor of a high rise in Downtown Tokyo. My apologies for the light posting during the week but our heads have been a bit elsewhere as I made sure he had all the Tim Tams (fantastic Australian chocolate biscuit for those of you overseas) and small stuffed Koalas as gifts along with all those other odds and ends like camera sticks etc. Lotte (our youngest) is also on a Sony Camp for the disabled and is away till tomorrow....so I only have Frankie to mother...and he is rarely home anyway. So it is very strange indeed.

  4. Bet it's quiet around your place! But what grown-up children ... the one going to Japan looks a little nervous ... I bet he misses you.
(Is he the one who looks like skinny ladder boy?)

    Lotte is a beautiful name.

  9. Hi Katherine. I'm up north at the moment (lovely weather, I know). Today I found about 60 of your Jennifer Hawkins metal chairs in near mint condition....for $2 each! Good investment do you think? I've only bought about 12 so far, but thinking of going back for the rest!!
