Now we have more space at the Woolloongabba Antique Centre it seems I have a lot more to show you and a lot more furniture too. The shot above is of my new space.
Today we took over this charming Beachy looking Linen Press. It is the loveliest pale green colour. It was luckily already painted this colour when I got it all I had to do was scuff up the paint a bit,
like you can see here to give it that nice beachy, shabby look.
This is how it looked when it arrived home before I got to it with the sand paper.
We also took over this little cupboard. It needed a bit of TLC. I should have taken a before shot. It is a great size for lots of spots in a house and I love the thick pine top, which reminds me of a butcher's block.
This little cupboard already had the shutter doors when we got him. But it looked very brown so I (and by I, I mean Kristen) painted the shell white to give it a beachy look but I liked the Frenchy feel it had by not painting the shutter doors.
Another French Country look, this time a hall table or desk.
This table is a lovely green colour, the photos don't do it justice. Again I just attacked it with the sander and gave it an estapol to bring out the paint.
This is it in my driveway before I started work on it.
Large old trunk.
Bench seats for indoors or out.
A strange man (actually Kristen ha) insisted on posing in this photo...he is always following me about and frequently stops to pose.
Marble top bedside table, lovely mixture of tradition and fresh painted goodness.
Orange mushroom lamp. I always like these, they are full of fun I think.
Tribal fellows, standing guard. Hope you have a lovely day.
