12 Mystery Boxes REVEALED

Well here is the big reveal of what is in the mystery boxes we bought on Monday from the beautiful home in Wilston Heights.

                                     

                                    

The first piece is unwrapped and drum roll.....

A plate....hmmm....not very exciting. Next item to be revealed.....wait for it......

Yes, a very exciting and highly valuable, rare Masterfoods empty bottle...NOT. Oh dear this is not starting well, ha !

 Above is all the items that we unwrapped and will head off to the WAC and Garden Centre this week.

 Unfortunately the boxes did not give up the mountains of goodies we had hoped for and were not as exciting to unwrap as another lot of mystery boxes you can see more of here. You can click on the picture above for a better look. There were some nice pieces though like

a Murano Duck

3 lovely trumpets from an epergne but sadly no stand .

 A large old pottery frog

and a pretty Royal Winton lamp base. I will show you the mirrors and pictures we got soon along with some of the furniture from the Wilston home which made us think the 12 mystery boxes would have given us a few more treasures. But it is always worth taking a chance I think and we will do okay with what we found in anycase. So we cannot complain. Though if it had been 12 boxes of old jars, I can imagine we might have.
