One is this sweet little Italian Murano glass vase. It is only about 12 cm high and is such a gentle shade of purple.
So in order to distract myself even further I have decided to have a little give away of this sweetie. If you think you might like her to come and live at your place or know someone who might love her just leave a comment and I will draw a winner next Sunday. I am happy to send world wide and if you are a follower you of course will get an extra entry.
Surprisingly it still has its little sticker label. Hope you have a lovely day.
OoOoh she would be welcome at my place :]
ReplyDeleteI hear you loud and clear...this weather is unbelievably horrendous!!! Please let it be Autumn soon!

[110F for the US folk]... didn't drop much overnight either.. hottest night on record.. but this pm a southerly blew through and it's not just cool.. it's cold!!! hahaha strange times we are living in!!! I wish it would just rain as it is dirty dusty blowy... [can't please me !! hehehe]
I must catch up with you via email.. but wanted to pop by and say hi and thanks for lovely comment... Hope things are good up your way... I'll write more when i am actually awake!!! Just had a nanna nap and dreamt Rod Stewart turned up at my door and gave me and friends a free concert.. and I felt bad for him as we all fell asleep and ignored him!! and then I was woken up by a talking mule!! hahaha [your readers are going to think this nuts... but hey.. you know me!!]

Love Murano, went back to Italy in July last year, ahhhhh, no one does it like the Italians. Gorgeous piece, love Posie
ReplyDeletePS yes, i'm an Army wife but i've never thought to call my children Army brats, they're nice ones, we've only lived on bases a couple of times, normally we're out with society to integrate with civilians, i was raised Navy but never lived on base (or ships, he he) - my husband is posted to Enoggera right now, for 3 years & we're staying Canberra as we're at high school stage . . . have a great week!!
How $%^#& humid is it? Aaaaargh! Just sayin' A-M xx
ReplyDeleteMe! Pick me! I have a space for it on my art glass shelf already.
ReplyDeleteAnd wasn't today just dreadfully hot, humid and still?! xx
Thanks for stopping by! While having coffee at WAC I was looking around, wondering who everybody was. You were probably one of the ones sitting there. I am completely over this heat.
ReplyDeleteCount me in, lady.
ReplyDeleteI could use that gorgeous piece of Italian glass ware to hold all my mini-Aussie flags! HA!
I'd so love to be counted in for this beauty. The first piece of glass I was given as a child was a Murano paperweight and it totally got me hooked! My mum has a Murano swan? that remind me very much of this. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea Miss Katherine. So pretty ... I would love to have her but i can see her over at Brismod's place even more than mine. So maybe add my comment in on behalf of her. Can i do that??? ...
ReplyDeleteps. you're so right about the table i sold - you made me feel so much better. If ok with you, i had a girl msg me about a print she wants to sell - do you mind if i refer her to you? You could prob answer her a little better with the knowledge you have. She left the comment on my blog under the Tretchikoff post. Check it out and let me know what you think. I can email her back if you like. But i need your expert opinion.. you guru you. Thanks gorgeous.x
Please enter me! What a beautiful little vase. I can even pick it up to save you the postage, if it doesn't melt first in this heat.

xx
My big girl has taken to liking glass objects. Maybe this could be the start of something a little more classy rather than the tatty glass souvenir shop buys?
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you got much of a storm but it was a real disappointment. A little bit of rumbling, a small downpour then back to stinking hot. I've had sweat in places I don't even want to think about! ;-)
Nice piece. Love the colour.. Yes this heat is so oppressive. I was glad to hear it was making you lazy. I thought it was just me.
ReplyDeleteThat little vase is a gorgeous shade of purple, please count me in!
ReplyDeleteThe heat and humidity have been horrid, bring on the rain!
Gorgeous, would love it, have a wonderfully inspiring week xx
ReplyDeleteYes, this heat is ridiculous Katherine. Almost hot enough to melt that little Murano!
ReplyDeleteIt;s beautiful! I could give it a wonderful new home here in Sydney, I've just started a little collection of vases :-)
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful & anything that shade of purple is more than welcome to come to my place :)
ReplyDeleteI love her the colour is Gorgeous I would love it at my place I have just the spot to put it On top of my old treadle stand.
