Help with Landscape DESIGN ~ Cottage Garden Nursery

     This is the lovely Russ, on the left, (don't tell him he is on the blog ha) and Paul on the right who are your go to plant gurus at the Cottage Garden Nursery. They have a mountain of knowledge between them and they take real pride and pleasure in helping people choose and maintain the right plants for their gardens and homes. But I also wanted to tell you of Paul's amazing talents as a landscape Architect. Below is a recent design he has been working on for a local family.

                The family had a small garden and Paul was able to design a really useable, easily maintanable and enviting space for them to enjoy. He likes to get the whole family envolved so that the Garden is for everyone not just for Mum and Dad. For a family it also has to be practical aswell as pretty.

     Hard to tell from my photos of the plan I know, if you click on the photos they enlarge and you can zoom in and get a better idea of the design and also the suggested plants Paul intends to use. For a small garden there is room to kick a footy, room to sit and enjoy, room for entertaining, room for some herbs and veges, and room for all those other essentials....like the washing.

So if you need a little help be it for one plant, one corner of your garden or help with the whole thing pop in and chat to Paul. He can even help you incorporate vintage ideas in your garden. He will often say to me when I bring something in, "That would look great in...." or "I could really see that in...."
