LOVE ~ More wonderful LINEN and Embroidery
Hello lovely Peacock and baby deer....
Wonderful pillow shams in CRISP white.
Afternoon tea or supper cloth with matching napkins.
I think I could easily waste many hours sorting through vintage linen and pouring over the hand embroidery...the lazy daises and the fine little stiches...Ahhh don't you just love vintage embroidery? I have taken a new stash over to the cottage Garden Nursery today, freshly laundered and traditionally starched by Nan ~ thanks Nan xx. Included is some wonderful vintage pillow shams, that only for a husband that hates pillow cases with "bits on", very nearly stayed here with me. I have displayed them on an old pine Ironing board. These make fun side or hall tables or look great on a verandah and make quirky party bars. Hope you all had a lovely day.

Some furniture items going up on Ebay tonight
Hi Everyone, Thanks so much for all your lovely comments. Sorry I have been a bit absent from the blogging world this past week a combination of computer and internet dramas.... aargh!! I knew it would happen when my computer repair boy ( son number 2, Chauncy) was away in Japan...murphy's law...haha. Anyway hopefully things will be back to normal this week and I can't wait to get around and visit everyone and catch up. The Rising Son
As I type this Chauncy, our youngest son aged 15, is in midair on his way to here...Tokyo, Japan. He and his fellow Japanese students will be spending the next 2 weeks in Japan.
Chauncy (Left) and his good mates Zac and Connor.
It is strange to think that tonight he will be sleeping on the 17th floor of a high rise in Downtown Tokyo. My apologies for the light posting during the week but our heads have been a bit elsewhere as I made sure he had all the Tim Tams (fantastic Australian chocolate biscuit for those of you overseas) and small stuffed Koalas as gifts along with all those other odds and ends like camera sticks etc. Lotte (our youngest) is also on a Sony Camp for the disabled and is away till tomorrow....so I only have Frankie to mother...and he is rarely home anyway. So it is very strange indeed.
