Interesting 1920's Railway Gauge Prototype Model

The older gentleman I got this off told me it was his fathers prototype patent invention for fixing the eternal problem of different railways gauges between Qld and NSW and that he had different gauged tracks that this model rang along and showed off how it worked. Sadly QR did not take him up on his idea and the tracks are long gone.

Phew the VILLA MARQUISE is empty
The last thing, the old copper name plate from the front gate, has been taken away. Now all I have to do is sell it all off so I can do it all again.

Every nook-an-crany

You have to look everywhere when you buy the entire contents of a old house No luck with the manhole but a funny little Linen room gave up some 1910/20's prints and paintings with the aid of a ladder.
Day of moving and packing at old Queenslander
...................................................................................The cedar and pine kitchen hutch was the heaviest bit of furniture I have moved in ages.
As a added bonus it was really difficult to get it out of the house due to later additions to the old home.
Chauncy who is a tall grade niner for his age, is showing off its height and he like his brother could not make it budge when Kristen and I got it home to our house.
