The winner of Bronnie Masefau's book, Australian Vintage Living, is Megan from White Cat Vintage. Thanks so much to everyone who left a comment and entered...Thought you would like to see this lovely photo, taken by the very talented Nat Duncan who is the creator of a wonderful new site called Precinkt. I had the joy of meeting Nat when she visited the Cottage Garden Centre to take some pics for the East Brisbane Precinkt. A few lovely goodies from Today's hunt.

Here are some pictures of the items we got today from a lovely lady who was moving
house. The little step ladder's legs fold into itself and would make an interesting little shelf.

Although this is a desk I could also see it used as a sideboard with a basket in the
centre between the drawers and a big mirror above it.

I fell in love with these fabulous mirrors, the unpainted one has some lovely details to the top and I thought the shape of the white was lovely.

Old Work Bench plus other goodies from today's Estate

I so love old work benches.... can't you just see this one with a bit of restoration as a kitchen island or on a verandah filled with baskets, enamelware or plants underneath. I also loved the cane blanket box. The legs on it splay out, so it gives it a stylish shape.

Around The Cottage Garden Nursery today...

Despite the weather being super chilly all of a sudden and the skies looking like they are about to open the Cottage Garden Nursery at East Brisbane was looking as cheerful as ever. Here are some shots of some of my favourite things in Shop 17 at the moment and around the nursery. Note the beautiful cushions are just a couple of some Bev Christenson has had made from some wonderful vintage fabric she purchased from theoldboathouse not so long ago....don't they look wonderful...I love the trims and they are feather filled. Bev along with her husband John have a space in the nursery too where they specialize in French inspired antiques.
